Thinking The Unthinkable | |

There was the headline in one of Canada’s national newspapers, “Minister Defends Sex With 10-Year Old Girl”. Even for Paul Martin’s cabinet of crooks and thugs this seemed a little extreme so I decided to read a little further. Turns out the article was in reference to an evangelical minister – not a cabinet minister. |
I’ve no doubt I wasn’t alone in reaching this erroneous conclusion. The level of sleaze, corruption, lack of morality and disregard exhibited by the Liberals time and time again is such that a senior member of the government coming to the defense of a pedophile is not only possible, but probable. |
This government has corrupted the country’s immigration to facilitate organized crime and the sex trade industry. And they defend doing so. |
This government permits war criminals, drug dealers, mob bosses, mass murderers, fraud artists, child molesters and other criminals seeking refugee asylum to walk the streets and commit further crimes while their legal process drags on; sometimes for decades. And they defend doing so. |
This government has refused to invoke the “notwithstanding” clause to criminalize child pornography after the Supreme Court of Canada determined that some kiddie porn has artistic merit. And they defend doing so. |
This government has, unlike the U.S. and Britain, refused to outlaw the Tamil Tigers; a recognized terrorist organization that practices mass murder, suicide bombings and sends young children and orphans into war zones. The reason; lots of Tamils in the Toronto area vote Liberal. Even this, they defend. |
Is it really that much of a stretch to suggest this government could conceivably defend sex with children? |
Consider the current controversy around polygamy. Polygamy, which is illegal but not unheard of in this country, constitutes child abuse. Girls as young as twelve are given away in marriage. They have no say in the matter. Despite common knowledge that polygamy is being practiced contrary to the law, the government has never raised an eyebrow. |
But now, even the Government of Canada has expressed an interest in polygamy. The reason? There’s a concern that legalizing same sex marriages will lead to the law prohibiting polygamy being declared unconstitutional. This may or may not happen. But it’s certainly not unreasonable that it might. Consider the present definition of marriage, “the union of one man and one woman.” If the gender can be tinkered with – why not the numbers? After all, polygamy is common in numerous countries and cultures. And given that Canadians literally worship multiculturalism, why should we ban that which is perfectly normal in other societies? |
But the Liberals are now so concerned about polygamy that they’ve sprung into action. Well, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. Actually they’ve asked for proposals to study it and determine if it is bad for women. What a heroic response. |
It looks like the next election will be fought over the solitary issue of same sex marriage. |
There’s a good chance the one after that will be waged over the right to have multiple wives and marry children. |
So far the government hasn’t done anything to suggest they will support polygamy. |
Mind you, it was only three years ago that Paul Martin and almost all the Liberal caucus voted to uphold the traditional definition of marriage. |
Don’t rule out them going to bat for polygamists. |
So long as they vote the right way. |
