Iceberg CEO scratching his head over water theft

ST. JOHN'S - The remarkable theft of about 30,000 litres of iceberg water from a vodka company warehouse in Newfoundland has bewildered the firm's owners. Iceberg Vodka CEO David Meyers said he and his staff were shocked on Monday morning to discover one of 10 tanks of water in the company's Port Union, N.L., warehouse had been drained of its precious contents. Stolen picker truck used to steal safe from Alberta bank

RCMP said a stolen picker truck was allegedly used by two men to steal a safe containing Canadian money from a bank in Winfield, Alberta, west of Pigeon Lake. The two suspects allegedly broke through the front wall of an Alberta Treasury Branch using the picker truck. (Global News)

Stolen Golden Retriever safely returned by RCMP in Kelowna

KELOWNA - Atlas the purloined pooch is safe at home in Kelowna after being found in Penticton, more than 60 kilometres away. Okanagan-area RCMP had been searching for Atlas, a golden retriever, since March 9 when the 18-month-old dog was lured from its fenced yard in Kelowna’s Mission district by an unknown woman. RCMP release images of suspect in crime spree, side-swiping police car
