Shooting suspect watched officers on cameras as he fired

SACRAMENTO - For hours, the barrage of gunfire just wouldn't stop.  Sacramento police Officer Tara O'Sullivan lay on the ground bleeding as gunshots echoed and her colleagues tried to get to her. The suspect fired incessantly, preventing officers from reaching her for at least 45 minutes, authorities said. (CNN)

    Quebec man dies after being shot in St. Maarten robbery

    Global Affairs Canada has confirmed a Quebec man was shot and killed during a robbery in St. Maarten in the Caribbean. Sylvain Valade, 48, died in hospital Friday night. Local police said Valade and his daughter were attacked by a stranger Wednesday night in the Beacon Hill area. They said there was a brief struggle and Valade was shot.
