Dayton shooter compiled ‘hit list’ and ‘rape list’ in high school:reports

The gunman who fatally shot nine people -- including his sister -- and injured more than two dozen others in Dayton, Ohio, early Sunday was reportedly suspended during his high school years for compiling a “hit list” of those he wanted to kill and a “rape list” of girls he wanted to sexually assault. Nine killed in mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio

Nine people in Ohio were killed in the second mass shooting in the U.S. in less than 24 hours, and the suspected shooter is also deceased, police said. Dayton police tweeted that an active shooter situation began at 1 a.m. Sunday in a historic district that's a popular nightlife destination, but officers nearby were able to "put an end to it quickly."     HALIFAX - A 19-year-old Halifax man died shortly after midnight from injuries in a shooting on Scot Street in Halifax early Friday evening, said regional police in a press release issued early Saturday morning. The name of the victim was not released because his next of kin had not been notified.  The case is now a homicide investigation. The release said  "there is no suspect(s) information at this time."
