A reported "hostage situation" in Oregon on Monday led to a fatal shooting with multiple deaths, according to officials. The Marion County Sheriff's Office said in a news release the incident unfolded at 12:30 p.m. local time at a home in Salem over the possible hostage situation. Man dead in Edmonton police involved shooting
Family members have identified a man killed during an officer-involved shooting in Edmonton Friday. Edmonton police responded to a report of a man with a weapon at a home near 118 Avenue and 69 Street around 4:15 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived they got into an altercation with a man and fired their weapons. Emergency medical services (EMS) was called to the scene where the man was declared dead. (Edmonton Sun)
