The Sûreté du Québec said it had found the body of a man in the area of Saint-Apollinaire around 7 p.m. Monday evening “following information given by a citizen.” The land search for Carpentier had been abandoned by the police over the weekend. Mounties say case of missing men may be murder

RCMP have searched a rural property belonging to one of two Surrey men who went missing last month and say foul play is now considered a factor in their disappearance. Ryan Provencher, 38, and Richard Scurr, 37, were last seen getting into a white 2019 Jeep Cherokee in the 16400 block of 23A Avenue in Surrey at 12:30 p.m. PT on July 17. Maryland couple found dead in Dominican Republic hotel room

A Maryland couple has been found dead in their hotel room in the Dominican Republic. The news of the death of Edward Holmes and Cynthia Day, who were engaged and had posted numerous photos on social media showing how much they were enjoying their vacation, comes just days after a Delaware woman said that that she was assaulted while vacationing in the Dominican Republic earlier this year.
