Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 14-month-old child abducted from his home near Hinton Friday. At 2:30 a.m. this morning, police said Waylon Armstrong was abducted from his home in Brule, near Hinton. Second arrest made in kidnapping of Chinese international student

TORONTO - York Regional Police confirm a second arrest has been made in the alleged kidnapping of Chinese international student Wanzhen Lu. Police have not yet publicly identified the 33-year-old suspect but say he was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at a Brampton home on Tuesday.     A girl who had been held in captivity against her will for four days in a secluded cabin in northern Saskatchewan was rescued by Saskatchewan RCMP officers.     Kidnapped Markham student turns up safe, four suspects sought

    TORONTO - Markham student Wanzhen Lu has been found north of Toronto, the victim of a violent kidnapping that made headlines worldwide. OPP Staff Sgt. Carolle Dionne confirmed the news to the Sun Tuesday evening, saying the 22-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He has since been returned to York Region, police say.(Toronto Sun)
