TORONTO - A man believed to be in his 20s is dead following a shooting in the area of Alford Crescent at around 2am on Sunday.  Paramedics said they transported two victims, one in life-threatening condition and the other in serious but non-life-threatening condition, to hospital from the scene.  Police later confirmed one of the male victims had succumbed to his injuries.  (CP24)

    BRAMPTON - Police responded to a call around 3am Sunday in the Kennedy St N and Vodden St E.  A man and a woman were taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. The man later died in hospital and the woman is in serious but non-threatening condition.  The back windshield of a taxi on scene has been shot out.  (CityNews)

    BRAMPTON - Police were called to the area of Sunforest Drive and Sandalwood Parkway E.  Officers said a victim was pronounced dead after a shooting took place at around 6:30am Sunday.  (CP24)


    EDMONTON - On the digital billboard along the Yellowhead Trail expressway, drivers might catch a glimpse of Kathy King's ad: a crumpled red dress on pavement and the web address '' The website tells the story of King's daughter, Cara King, whose body was found in a farmer's field near the hamlet of Sherwood Park a month after she went missing in early Aug 1997.
