Drunk woman with psychiatric problems arrested after 10 die in Paris building fire

Paris’ deadliest fire in over a decade claimed 10 lives Tuesday, sending fleeing residents to the roof as flames engulfed their apartment building before dawn. A 40-year-old female resident of the building, said to have a history of psychiatric problems, was arrested as police opened an investigation into voluntary arson resulting in death. Merritt man arrested after a series of church arsons

Merritt RCMP said they’ve made an arrest in a series of arsons targeting churches last week. “ we had obtained some evidence that allowed us to get a search warrant,” said Cst. Tracy Dunsmore with the Merritt RCMP. “We a home in the Merritt area and obtained further evidence which allowed us to make an arrest.” (Global News)

Employee charged with arson at Ottawa Wendy’s
