ATLANTA - A Georgia jury has awarded an eye-popping $1B verdict against a security company after an apartment complex guard was convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl. TORONTO - Police have arrested a lawyer in a series of sexual assaults in the Yonge and Eglinton area.  The string of 4 incidents happened earlier this month. KATIVIK - Almost every day, police in Nunavik, the Inuit territory in Quebec's far north, hand out rape kits to victims who request them.  According to Kativik regional police (KRPF), in 2017 alone, there were 220 cases of sexual assault against minors and 228 cases of sexual assault against adult women in Nunavik. BRANDON - A woman who was a parishioner of an Anglican church in western MB is alleging she was exploited and sexually assaulted by her priest for years, after he manipulated her into a sexual relationship.  The woman is suing former priest Nigel Packwood and the Anglican synod of the Diocese of Brandon.  (CBC)
