Liberal MP who quit over massive gambling debts charged by the RCMP over ‘millions’ in personal loans while in office

Former Liberal Member of Parliament of Raj Grewal was charged Friday with fraud and breach of trust over “millions” of dollars in personal loans obtained while he was in office, the RCMP said. “It is alleged that Mr. Grewal failed to report his receipt of millions in personal loans to the Ethics Commissioner, in circumstances that constitute a criminal breach of trust,” the RCMP announced Friday.
