A veteran Abbotsford police officer who was attacked in Nelson has died from his injuries. Abbotsford cops and the Nelson police issued statements Wednesday saying Const. Allan Young died overnight in hospital after being assaulted with a weapon in Nelson last Thursday. (The Province)
