At least 16 people were killed by a gunman in a 12-hour rampage that began in Portapique late Saturday night and ended in the parking lot of an Enfield gas station Sunday. An RCMP officer, Const. Heidi Stevenson, was among the deceased. RCMP said the gunman, identified as Gabriel Wortman, also died. (Halifax Chronicle Herald)
