What if British Columbia matched Saskatchewan’s Charge Clearance Rate?

In 1999 the Province of British Columbia reported 507,031 Criminal Incidents.  

If B.C. cleared the same percent of incidents as Saskatchewan (36.1%), then the province would have cleared 87,716 more criminal incidents by identifying the individuals responsible and laying criminal charges.

In 1998 the Province of British Columbia reported 525,988 Criminal Incidents.  

If B.C. cleared the same percent of incidents as Saskatchewan (35.5%), then the province would have cleared 90,470 more criminal incidents by identifying the individuals responsible and laying criminal charges.

In 1997 the Province of British Columbia reported 543,215 Criminal Incidents.  

If B.C. cleared the same percent of incidents as Saskatchewan (35.2%), then the province would have cleared 91,260 more criminal incidents by identifying the individuals responsible and laying criminal charges.

In 1996 the Province of British Columbia reported 574,962 Criminal Incidents.  

If B.C. cleared the same percent of incidents as Saskatchewan (36.6%), then the province would have cleared 106,367 more criminal incidents by identifying the individuals responsible and laying criminal charges.

In 1995 the Province of British Columbia reported 565,665 Criminal Incidents.  

If B.C. cleared the same percent of incidents as Saskatchewan (39.3%), then the province would have cleared 118,224 more criminal incidents by identifying the individuals responsible and laying criminal charges.
