CALGARY - In tossing the charges against Kulwinder Rajasansi and Wesley Sinclair, Justice Peter McIntyre said the 38-month delay between the men being charged and the end of their trial was inexcusable. MONTREAL - She was stabbed in the head. Her cheek, jaw and eye socket were smashed. She spent two months in a coma and sustained brain damage.  A judge ruled that her attacker - a man who pleaded guilty - will not spend any more time in jail.  In September 2005, Marcia Langleib, then 52, was waiting for a metro at the Snowdon station when Peter Nidzielsky, then 27, tried to sexually assault her.  (CTV)

'Healer' sentenced to 12 years for sexual abuse

 WETASKIWIN, ALTA. - An Alberta man who posed as a medicine man and then sexually abused women and girls under the cover of "spiritual healing" was sentenced to 12 years in prison Friday.   The Crown said 44-year-old Harold Mearon lured females to a motel room for healing sessions and then abused them.
