A fourth member of an extremist group known as the
"Toronto 18" has pleaded guilty to hatching a bombing plot. Zakaria
Amara, 24, entered his guilty pleas in a Brampton courtroom Thursday to
charges stemming from a plot to detonate fertilizer bombs in Toronto and

BRAMPTON - A Toronto-area man who plotted to bomb RCMP headquarters and
Parliament will have to serve another two years in jail, a court ruled.
Ali Dirie, a member of the so-called Toronto 18 terror group, was handed
the equivalent of a seven-year sentence for his part in the 2006 plot.
