THOMPSON - 16-year-old Fletcher McDougall was found dead in Thompson on March 20. Joey Aitken Whiteway, 19, of Thompson was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the case last month. On May 7, RCMP said that Justin Joseph Parker, 23, of Winnipeg is also charged with second-degree murder. Woman strangled by husband EDMONTON - Police confirmed on that Dwayne Richard Poirier strangled Jeanne Cathleen Heard to death before the explosion and that the explosion was caused by a natural gas line that had been cut. Neighbours Craig Donald Huber, 29, and Bradley Warren Winter, 26, were killed in the explosion, as was Poirier. The deaths of Heard, Huber and Winter have been ruled homicides.
