SELVIN KRISHNA

RCMP were called to Ridge Meadows Hospital around 2:30am where the victim was being treated after the fight, which occurred a short time earlier near the intersection of 223rd St & McIntosh Ave.  The victim later died from his injuries. Selvin Krishna, 36, who made the province's most wanted car thief list for the first time in 2006 has been identified as the person who was murdered.   May 13, 2012  Stabbing  

   

ETHEL FENOTTI

Around 3:30am VPD received a call from a man asking for assistance at a suite on East 12th Ave. VPD members entered the apartment and during a search of the suite, they found an elderly woman deceased.  The woman has been identified as 72 year old Ethel Fenotti.  Her son Richard Glenn Shields, 50, is charged with second degree murder.   VPD #5     May 10, 2012  

   

NIRMAL BAINS

On May 5, 2012 at 10:30am a deceased 80 year old male was located by his wife in an outbuilding on their property in the 31700-block of Huntingdon Road.  On May 7th, 2012 an autopsy was completed on the victim and it was determined that the he sustained injuries that are consistent with a homicide.  The victim has been identified as 80 year old Nirmal Bains.  IHIT File# 2012-1286   May 5, 2012  Senior was murdered   Suspicious death

   

NOEL JACKSON

A 21-year-old man has been identified after a shooting in Surrey.  Members of the Surrey RCMP were called to a residence on the 23434 70th Ave where in the basement they found Noel Jackson dead from gunshot wounds.  (LM #17)    May 3, 2012   Victim ID'd 

   

RANJIT CHEEMA

THOMAS GISBY

50-year-old Thomas Gisby was shot twice at close range at a Starbucks in Nuevo Vallarta. TASHINA RAE SUTHERLAND

Jessica Hanley, 23, faces second-degree murder charges in connection with the death of Tashina Rae Sutherland of Burnaby.  Sutherland's body was found by Surrey RCMP early Thursday evening after police received a call that a woman in the 10600-block of 138 St needed medical attention. JUSTINE NETHANIEL PO

On April 18, 2012 at approximately 1:10pm the Richmond RCMP received a 911 call of shots fired.  The shooting occurred at the intersection of Katsura Street and Ferndale Road outside of an apartment complex and Police believe that after the shooting the male suspect entered a vehicle and fled the area.  The male victim has been identified as 36 year old Richmond resident, Justine Nethaniel Po.  Justine Nethaniel Po is the second person involved in the murder of Lotus Gang boss Raymond Chan to be murdered in Richmond.  His co-accused Mark James Thrower was shot to death at his apartment in February 2005 - the same day he was to go to trial for killing the high-profile gangster in May 2003.  (LM #14)   IHIT File# 2012-1101  April 18, 2012    Homicide victim

   

DAVID BOURGEOIS

The RCMP were called to the 20700-block of River Road near Maple Ridge Elementary School at about 9am Friday after a body was discovered.  The victim is 41 year old David Bourgeois.  Mr. Bourgeois is known to police and appeared to be active in the drug trade.   (LM #13)   IHIT File# 2012-918    March 30, 2012   Body found  

   

CHELSEA ROSE HOLDEN

Shortly after 6am on Monday March 19th, Vancouver Police responded to a call of a stabbing inside the Cobalt Hotel and found Chelsea Rose Holden, 28, inside who had been stabbed.  She was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.  At this early stage of the investigation it appears that the homicide may be the result of some type of altercation involving a number of people inside the hotel that escalated and resulted in Chelsea Holden being fatally stabbed.  (LM #12)    VPD #3   March 19, 2012   Victim ID'd   Woman killed 

   

JAN ARON KORINTH

Just after 11:00pm on Sat March 17, 2012, Surrey RCMP responded to a 911 from a male claiming he had been stabbed. Police and EHS attended the area however the victim was not immediately located.  Several minutes later a call was received from a male in a residence in the 11000-block of 168th St requesting police attend for an apparent attack on the tenant in the basement suite.  Evidence inside the residence suggested a significant struggle took place and a blood trail led officers to a nearby location where the body of Jan Aron Korinth, 26, was located.  (LM #11)   IHIT File#2012-772  March 17, 2012

KOREY TYLER KELLY

On March 09, 2012 just before 9:30pm the Langley RCMP received a 911 call of a man shot in the area of 16 Avenue and 272 Street.  Langley RCMP were reroute when they were flagged down by two males at 24 Ave and 272 St. The two males led the officers to a vehicle where an unresponsive male was located.  The deceased has been identified as Korey Tyler Kelly, 25.  Apparently Kelly was part of a group trying to break into and rob a marijuana grow operation.  (LM #10)   IHIT File #2012-660  March 9, 2012  Shooting   Shooting   Man shot

   

KACEY ROGERS

On Sunday, just after 10:30pm, Kacey Rogers, 31, was fatally shot in his home in the 14000-block of Grosvenor Road.  The shooting was witnessed by an 18-year-old woman who apparently lived with the victim in a duplex.  Russell Bidesi, 21, of Surrey and Joshua Martinez, 19, of New Westminster were arrested on Feb 28 and charged with second-degree murder.  Richmond resident, Fabian Lyde, 18, was arrested March 16 and is facing a weapons-related charge.  (LM #9)   Feb 26, 2012

   

JIMMY CHAU

JENNY LE WONG

Jenny Le Wong, a 30 year old Vancouver mother of two is dead and her 31 year old ex-husband is in custody.  Feb 14 at about 6pm, police were called to a basement suite in the 3400-block E Georgia St Officers arrived to find that a woman had been shot and her family members, who had been in another part of the house at the time of the shooting, had not only disarmed "Andy" Long Phi Nguyen, but were holding him for police.  (LM #7)  VPD #2   Feb 14, 2012   Ex-husband charged   Valentine's Day domestic dispute

BRANDON JAMES HOWSON

A man connected to the drug trade in Maple Ridge has been identified as the person who was found dead in a Pitt Meadows field on Tuesday.  Brandon Howson, 26, was discovered by a passerby around 10:30am, lying face down in a cranberry field at the end of 224th St by 144th Ave.  He lived nearby.  Charged with Second Degree Murder is 33 year old Maple Ridge resident, Adam Deboo.    (LM #6)   IHIT File #2012-299   Jan 31, 2012   Victim identified    Victim identified   Victim known to police

   

JOHN ALEXANDER

On January 26, 2012 at 1:30pm the Richmond RCMP received a 911 call to attend the 11900-block of Aztec St.   RCMP attended the scene and located two individuals, husband and wife, in medical distress.  The male was pronounced deceased at the scene and the women was taken to the hospital to be treated as she was conscious but incoherent.  Jo Anne Alexander, the wife of John Alexander, 61, who died of a head injury, has now been charged with second-degree murder.  John Alexander had an extensive medical history including brain surgery to deal with epileptic seizures. SEAN BEAVER

Sean Beaver, is from Montreal and was not well-known to police in BC before he was targeted in the driveway of a house in the 13900-block of 56th Ave about 11pm Thursday.  A second man shot Thursday and critically wounded is the sibling of Stephen Leone, a member of the Dhak-Duhre group who was fatally shot by a masked gunman Oct. 22, 2011.   (LM #4)   Jan 19, 2012   Victim identified   Feud   Targeted shooting   Shooting

   

SANDIP 'Dip' DUHRE

A well-known gangster was killed in a targeted shooting at a busy downtown Vancouver restaurant Tuesday evening.  Sandip "Dip" Duhre, one of the three Duhre brothers.  In September, the Gang Task Force warned that anyone connected to the Duhre gang, which has taken control of the Fraser Valley drug trade, was subject to retaliation or to violence from other gangs.  Vancouver police were called to the restaurant in the Sheraton Wall Centre at 1088 Burrard St shortly after 8:45pm.   (LM #3)   VPD #1   Jan 17, 2012   Feud   

   

RYAN SAINT-ANGE

On Jan 14, 2012 Abbotsford Police Department attended the 27700-block of 56th Ave for a 911 call.  The victim has been identified as 21 year old Ryan Saint-Ange. PATRICK MARTIN

On Jan 11, 2012 just after 8:00am the Surrey RCMP received a 911 call to attend the rear alley of the 12800-block of 92A Ave in Surrey for what appeared to be an unconscious male lying in the alley.  BCAS transported the male to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased shortly after 3:00pm.  Patrick Martin, 41, of Surrey, appears to have sustained injuries consistent with a homicide and IHIT has taken conduct of the investigation.   (LM #1)   IHIT File #2012-0092   Jan 11, 2012    Victim identified
